Today while attending to the guinea pigs I noticed a white shape in one of the garden beds. Upon closer inspection I realised it was an egg. Perfect, whole, alone. I was out most of the day so therefore not around to notice what birds had been in our yard. After searching Google, we think it may be from a cockatoo or lorikeet, but I am not sure. There are no nests in the tree it was below and if it fell from height, would have smashed. The bird must have been on the ground at the time it was laid.
